Khedira turns 28 today

The German midfielder has played 161 matches in his five seasons at Real Madrid.
Sami Khedira celebrates his 28th birthday today. The German arrived at Real Madrid in summer 2010 and has made 161 appearances since then, scoring 9 goals. This season, Khedira has featured in 17 games, of which he has won 12. He was born in Stuttgart (Germany) on 4 April 1987 and made his Madrid debut on 29 August 2010 at Mallorca (0-0).

In his time at the Santiago Bernabéu, Khedira has won 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 La Liga title, 2 Copas del Rey and 1 Spanish Super Cup. In addition, last summer he claimed the World Cup with the German national team, together with Toni Kroos. Before pulling on the white shirt, he made his bow in top-level football with Stuttgart.
